In 1996, Natha Vidyalaya progressed to a charity registered school of Asian Education and Fine Arts Trust. As recognition of the perseverance of Nadamani Muthu Sivarajah and the determination of Smt. Kalaivani Indrakumar, this school comprises the first generation of London born children who are committed to mastering the art of Carnatic music on the Violin and Mridangam.
Violin Teacher Smt.Kalaivani Indrakumar
Smt.Kalaivani Indrakumar is a devoted Violin teacher who tries to bring the best out of every student. She has served as a radio artiste at Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation. As director of the London-based Natha Vidyalaya , she has trained a vast number of students who have appeared in many BBC radio and television programs in London. Her love and patience for the art of Violin is evident in her unique teaching skills. Her skills and inspirations are trade marks of her gurus Sangeetha Kalanidhi Prof.T.N.Krishnan, Shri. M.S. Anantharaman and Shri.Alandur S.Natarjan. She has accompanied many stalwarts both in Sri Lanka and in London. Twenty-five of her students have successfully graduated from the school. Most of her students are now professional Violinists and also accompany her for many performances in United Kingdom and other parts of world.
