Founder & Violin Teacher Smt.Kalaivani Indrakumar

 

founderSmt. Kalaivani Indrakumar, Sangeetha Vidwan (1973) from the College of Carnatic Music, Chennai, with the aim of propagating Carnatic music and dance in the UK, teamed up with Nadamani Shri. Muthu Sivarajah and established “Natha Vidyalaya” in 1988. Smt.Kalaivani Indrakumar is a devoted Violin teacher who tries to bring the best out of every student. She has served as a radio artiste at Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation. As director of the London-based Natha Vidyalaya , she has trained a vast number of students who have  appeared in many BBC radio and television programs in London.

Smt. Kalaivani Indrakumar's love and patience for the art of Violin is evident in her unique teaching skills. Her skills and inspirations are trade marks of her gurus Sangeetha Kalanidhi Prof.T.N.Krishnan, Shri. M.S. Anantharaman and Shri.Alandur S.Natarjan.  She has accompanied   many stalwarts both in Sri Lanka and in London. Twenty-five of her students have successfully graduated from the school. Most of her students are now professional Violinists and also accompany her for many performances in United Kingdom and other parts of world.
